At the same time, the set of documents must contain a type certificate for the claimed products issued by a conformity assessment body accredited in the CU.

(The conformity assessment body (or accredited testing laboratory) conducts a product type study in one of the following ways:
– study of the sample for planned production as a typical representative of all future products;
– analysis of technical documentation, testing of a product sample or critical components of products.

Based on the results of the type study, a certificate of type conformity is issued.)
