Selection of the certification scheme of the Republic of Kazakhstan
In general, the following 10 certification schemes are provided in the Republic of Kazakhstan:

| 1 | Tests of product samples are carried out in an accredited testing laboratory (AIL) and, in case of positive results, a certificate of conformity is issued for mass-produced products. The certificate is valid for 6 months. | It is recommended with a limited, predetermined volume of product sales. |
| 2 | An analysis of the state of production is carried out, as well as testing of product samples in an accredited testing laboratory and, in case of positive results, a certificate of conformity is issued for mass-produced products. In this case, product samples are taken from the seller. The certificate is valid for 1 year | It is recommended for imported products coming under long-term contracts or with constant deliveries of serial products under individual contracts. |
| 3 | An analysis of the state of production is carried out, as well as testing of product samples in an accredited testing laboratory and, in case of positive results, a certificate of conformity is issued for mass-produced products. In this case, product samples are taken from the manufacturer. The certificate is valid for 1 year. | It is recommended for serial products, the stability of production of which is beyond doubt. |

At the same time, product samples are taken from both the manufacturer and the seller. | 5 | An audit of the manufacturer’s quality management system is carried out, as well as testing of product samples in an accredited testing laboratory and, in case of positive results, a certificate of compliance of the QMS with the ST RK ISO 9001 standard and a certificate of conformity for mass-produced products are issued. The certificate is valid for 3 years. | Schemes 5 and 6 are recommended for certification of products for which:

| 6 | An audit of the manufacturer’s quality management system is carried out, as well as testing of product samples in an accredited testing laboratory and, in case of positive results, a certificate of compliance of the QMS with the ST RK ISO 9001 standard and a certificate of conformity for mass-produced products are issued. The certificate is valid for 3 years. (Scheme 6 differs from scheme 5 in that it does not provide for certification of the final product and is recommended for certification of components. Scheme 6 can also be used for certification of imported products of a supplier (not a manufacturer) who has a certificate for his quality management system) | |
| 7 | Samples from a batch of products are tested in an accredited testing laboratory and, in case of positive results, a certificate of conformity for a batch of products is issued. The validity period of the certificate is established by the decision of the conformity assessment body, but not more than the warranty period of the product. | It is recommended to use when the production and sale of this batch of products are one-time |
| 8 | Tests of each unit of production are carried out in an accredited testing laboratory and, in case of positive results, a certificate of conformity for a single product is issued. | 9 | The analysis of the documents submitted by the applicant (in accordance with clause 4.2) is carried out, and if the documents confirm the compliance of the products with all the requirements of the relevant TR RK, then a certificate of conformity for a batch of products is issued. The validity period of the certificate is established by the decision of the conformity assessment body, but not more than the warranty period of the product. | It is recommended for imported products in the following cases:
